Daniel Cormier’s win at UFC 226 against Stipe Miocic was one of the major victories in his career. Although the Cormier did not seem dominant and favorite throughout, it was his night that he took the title from Miocic.
After his win, it was expected that Cormier would challenge or call out another fighter, and that was exactly what he did.
Cormier called out Brock Lesnar. Lesnar was already present in the crowd and he was spotted on camera while entering into the arena. Brock wasted no time and went straight into the ring and pushed Cormier very hard to answer the challenge. Although no statement was officially made until this scenario that Cormier will defend his UFC Heavyweight Championship against ‘The Beast’ Brock Lesnar in a fight.

“Daniel Cormier: If I beat Brock Lesnar, I’m one of the greatest heavyweights of all time”
At SummerSlam, it appeared as if Brock Lesnar had made all the possible preparations to leave WWE, as Roman Reigns defeated him and took Universal Title. It seemed to finish the rivalry between them. The next day which was Monday Night Raw, Paul Heyman was denied the rematch by Kurt Angle. The rivalry between them was started from Wrestlemania 34, in which The Beast got the dominant victory over The Big Dog. The rematch was also featured in WWE Greatest Royal Rumble in April but still, Brock Lesnar walked out as Universal Champion.
Brock Lesnar still seem to get in touch with WWE as he recently spotted on WWE Hell in a Cell PPV. He entered into the Cage in which the main event between Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns was underway. Hit the F5 and took out both Strowman and Reigns.
There is no official date announced for the match between Daniel Cormier and Brock Lesnar but it is expected to be held in February next year.
